Did you know that for Google Adsense to really work well on your website and deliver the most favorable and applicable links that their software needs more words? It's true, and even if you have a small directory site, with 100-words on the page that are highly targeted, the search feature running AdSense can still miss and deliver non-applicable advertising links.
What does this mean to you? Simple really, if those links are highly un-applicable, your targeted traffic is not going to click on any of them and you have wasted your time, your readers time, and Googles time, worse, no one made any money, no one was served, and it's all because you lack quality and targeted content on the page; in other words it's your fault. What can you do about this?
Well, why not make sure you have at least 200 - 250 words of text and a picture (labeled with targeted keywords) on each page in addition to whatever is there already. It's been my experience that Google AdSense likes to see about 300 words on a page to accurately dial in their ads. You'll see a big difference once you get over 300 words.
If each page on your website now already has about 100 words of targeted content, adding three or four paragraphs would really make a difference. It's up to you, no one is forcing you to make money on your content or website, indeed, I was just thinking about your volume of traffic and page ranking.
Interestingly enough, I don't know you so it doesn't really matter to me, just thinking out loud on that one, trying to figure out how to accomplish your goals for traffic, and click revenue. So, please consider all this, and adjust your websites accordingly to maximize your income.
